Julie is our pioneer, founder, and the visionary behind the styles at the only high-end salon in the greater New York area. Her passion for fashionable hair began in high school when, at just 15 years old, she trained under two of the top stylists in her hometown. Balancing her cosmetology studies while completing her high school diploma, Julie earned her license before heading to New York City.In the city, Julie was introduced to the world of high-end salons, vibrant colors, and artistic expression. She apprenticed at the renowned La Coupe salon, owned by the iconic Helen Oppenheimer, where she further developed her skills and creative vision.Fortunately for us, Julie brought her big-city expertise back to the Ithaca area, where she has owned, operated, and elevated hair standards at her salon for the past 30 years. She is also deeply committed to mentoring the next generation of stylists, dedicating her time to shaping the careers of young women from surrounding cosmetology schools. This dedication to mentorship has become a core part of her salon’s success, ensuring that the legacy of creativity, professionalism, and artistry continues to thrive.
